Slim Bot
A personal weight-loss coach that lives in Telegram. One message is one action: type a number to log your weight, send a photo of your plate to get calories and protein, and let your Fitbit fill in the rest.
What it does
- Weight trend, not noise. Daily weigh-ins become a 7-day average with an honest rate and a projection to your target date.
- Food by photo or text. A vision model estimates calories and protein (labelled as estimates), you confirm with one tap.
- A daily budget that adapts. Calories and protein targets from your own data; a weekly controller nudges the budget when the scale disagrees with the plan.
- Wearable data, automatically. Steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, sleep with stages, workouts, resting heart rate, HRV and SpO₂ come in from Google Health (Fitbit) — nothing to type.
- Coaching that names one lever. Late-night eating, weekends, liquid calories, short sleep, too few steps — the weekly review picks the one thing that actually moves the number.
Google Health integration
Slim Bot connects to the Google Health API with read-only access to activity, sleep and health metrics. The connection is made once through Google sign-in and can be revoked at any time from the bot (/fit off) or from your Google account permissions.
Data is read on a schedule (about once an hour) and stored only in the bot's own database to render your daily and weekly summaries. It is never sold, shared, or used to train models. Wearable calorie estimates are shown for comparison and never override the budget computed from your scale.
What Google data we access and why
| Scope | Data | Used for |
|---|---|---|
googlehealth.activity_and_fitness.readonly | steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, active zone minutes, exercise sessions | daily activity line, workout notifications, weekly averages, activity-based coaching |
googlehealth.sleep.readonly | sleep sessions and stages | sleep hours in the morning summary, short-sleep pattern in the weekly review |
googlehealth.health_metrics_and_measurements.readonly | resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, blood-oxygen saturation, respiratory rate | recovery indicators shown next to the day's numbers |
- Read-only. Slim Bot never writes to your Google Health account and never requests write scopes.
- Stored where. In the bot's private SQLite database on a server operated by Leco Digital (EU, encrypted at rest, TLS in transit). Access tokens are stored encrypted on the same server and are never logged.
- Shared with nobody. Google Health data is not sold, transferred to third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Photos of food are sent to an AI vision model for calorie estimation; Google Health data is never sent to any AI model.
- Retention and deletion. Data is kept while the integration is connected.
/fit offin the bot deletes the Google tokens immediately; a request to dashkov.inc@gmail.com deletes all stored health data within 7 days. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Slim Bot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
